City Parks and Beaches
Not recommended for children wishing to swim, due to the deep water and strong currents. There are no lifeguards on duty and swimmers swim at their own risk. Playground and seasonal bathrooms available. Paid parking at Lakeside and Lighthouse Beaches for the summer season starts today, May 21, 2026. Parking attendants are present 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily at Lakeside Beach and on weekends at Lighthouse Beach. If a booth attendant is not present, a payment or seasonal pass is not required to park at that time.
