Gibraltar Rd Gas Flaring for Gas Main Replacement
DTE Gas is continuing with natural gas main relocation work on Gibraltar Road related to Wayne County’s upcoming bridge replacement over Silver Creek. A trailer with a flaring stack will be temporarily parked on the south side of Gibraltar Road east of Mayfair St. This work will be performed on Monday, 8/17/26. An open flame will be visible at the top of the flaring stack for approximately two hours. The temporary presence of this flame is part of the normal process for the required work and is no cause for concern. Normal road traffic will be permitted in the area but the sidewalk on the sout
