Long before Roderick “Rod” Petschauer became a longtime chief financial officer helping guide companies through growth, acquisitions and major financial decisions, he was a teenager with a guitar and a father who believed you worked for what you wanted. Petschauer, 68, grew up in Monmouth Beach, New Jersey, and began playing professionally at 16. His bands mostly performed rock and roll and Top 40 music, and the money helped put him through college.
