Petoskey Pack Therapy Dogs
The Public Schools of Petoskey is proud to provide the district with six highly trained Therapy Dogs. What is now known as “The Petoskey Pack,” began with a couple four-legged friends - Poppy and Henry (retired) - with one simple mission: to support the social and emotional wellbeing of students and staff. Our Therapy Dogs are trained to spend his or her days in the school with students. Research has shown that Therapy Dogs help students’ academic and psychological growth, improve physical well being and increase self esteem, especially for students who struggle in social settings.
