The Howell Carnegie District Library’s Build It! Room gives families a place for hands-on play. Foam and wooden blocks and other building materials invite children to experiment with shapes and structures.
The library describes the room as especially suited to preschoolers through third graders, while welcoming other ages. It is a drop-in space during library hours, with no registration required; young children need adult supervision.
Before heading to the library at 314 West Grand River Avenue, check its current hours. Families can also browse the library’s event calendar for separately scheduled programs, which may have their own age ranges or registration requirements.
