Walled Lake City Library’s A Novel Idea Book Group offers a regular conversation for readers. The library lists its usual meeting time as 11 a.m. on the fourth Monday of the month and welcomes new participants. Ask the library for the current title, a copy and confirmation of the next meeting; older reading lists are not a reliable guide to this month’s selection.
For a quieter evening at home, the library also offers Kanopy to regular Walled Lake library cardholders. The streaming service includes films, documentaries, international selections and children’s programming without advertising. The library’s announcement notes unlimited plays in Kanopy Kids.
