- Department of Public WorksThe Department of Public Works (DPW) is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the infrastructure of the Village of Suttons Bay. The DPW provides snow removal, pothole patching, sidewalk and curb repair and signage services for the Village streets, including all alleys. The Street Department along with the zoning administrator is in charge of issuing driveway permits. The DPW handles the maintenance of the Village of Suttons Bay buildings and vehicles, as well as grooming the 8 parks within the Village.
- Zoning Board of AppealsIf an applicant wishes to appeal a Zoning Administrator's decision, request an interpretation, or would like to request a variance, the applicant may file an application to bring the matter before the Zoning Board of Appeals. Chair Donna Popke, Karen Hassevoort, Ex-officio Karl Bahle, Gary Cheadle and Frank Smith. The Zoning Board of Appeals meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 5:30 p.m. (unless lack of business).
