• Petoskey Pack Therapy DogsThe Public Schools of Petoskey is proud to provide the district with six highly trained Therapy Dogs. What is now known as “The Petoskey Pack,” began with a couple four-legged friends - Poppy and Henry (retired) - with one simple mission: to support the social and emotional wellbeing of students and staff. Our Therapy Dogs are trained to spend his or her days in the school with students. Research has shown that Therapy Dogs help students’ academic and psychological growth, improve physical well being and increase self esteem, especially for students who struggle in social settings. • School Based Nursing ProgramThe Petoskey School Based Nursing Program is a collaboration between Public Schools of Petoskey and the Health Department of Northwest Michigan to provide health and wellness services to Petoskey Elementary Buildings. School-based health programs support students, their families, and school staff to promote health and wellness in the school environment. Availability of services may vary between school buildings and are based on program model. To learn more about these programs, please visit the Health Departments website at the link below.
• School Behavioral Health ProgramThe Public Schools of Petoskey have partnered with Alcona Health Center to provide behavioral health services in the district. The Behavioral Health Program provides access to behavioral health therapy in all of the school buildings. Availability of services may vary between school buildings and are based on program model. • PowerSchool Parent and Student HelpIf you are in need help with your Parent PowerSchool Portal account, please use this form to give us your information. As soon as we create your account or make the update, an email will be sent to you with the information needed for you to access PowerSchool. If you are a new student to the Public Schools of Petoskey and you are enrolling during the school year, please see your school's Media Center (Library) for help with your PowerSchool student account.
